The Report of the General Secretary-Treasurer is especially interesting, as it was written in the middle of the IWW’s period of immense and rapid growth. At the time of the writing, the Secretary-Treasurer reported that over 100 local unions had been chartered, and that the Agricultural Workers Industrial Union #400 had over 18,000 members. The report includes letters from “Big Bill” Haywood, as well as details of numerous small, since-forgotten strikes led by the IWW.
